The aim is to make a short animation which is inspired by a scene form your favorite movie, but you are encouraged to come up with new narrative and visual twists, so the movie is only an excuse to experiment with ideas in motion.
Next to that, we will transform one of your favorite architect’s most beloved creations by adapting it to the visual style of your movie. The end result should be an original animated sequence with as one of your main characters your altered piece of architecture.
In the process you will learn to draw storyboards, architectonic backgrounds, characters with attitude and how to compose all these elements in an animated form.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenI think the trees are too flat, even with shadow. And of course it is not the attention to have a image full of trees and "mirrored" like this!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLooks very good! and I think this bg can work even better if you give more shadows/contrast to the tress in the front line, and if you can vary a little the sizes, just stretch and pull in Illustrator and make a few versions, also the trees more far away can have less details, all if you have to do in Flash is to turn each tree into a symbol, f8, and then give a tint, properties>color&effects...and yes, the shadows should all point in one direction, but again easily adjusted in Flash ;)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBecause it looks like that the main source of light is from the ceiling you may want to add a gradient, just on a separate layer, to the sides to make them darker, so that your trees also can stand out better in the picture, hope it helps!
